North Georgia’s Glory 1330 was born in the heart of Mike Wofford in 1997. In 1998, God put His clear purpose for this station in Mike’s heart. Soon afterwards, in His own wonderous way, God opened all the doors that made it possible for a legally blind man to sign on the air in November 1998 with a new Christian radio voice.
Glory 1330 has one motivating purpose: TO BRING GLORY TO JESUS. Beginning with a staff of only three people, God has given the increase which now includes a staff of ten people, a more powerful transmitter, a wonderful loyal audience in twelve counties, and friends from all over the United States. That’s why we say “At WGTJ -WE’VE GOT THE JOY!”
